RAM GAVA
Ram is a protestant pastor and the founder of Walai, who has created a network of ambassadors and supporters across Europe and the US to make the Walai project grow.
He collaborates with the Walai's administration and lives "on the field", to help people and lead the initiatives first hand.
MISSION
AND VALUES
Walai stands for Wave of Legacy Alliance Initiative. We are a Spanish ONG with main operations in Uganda.
Our mission is to grant back basic human rights for endangered communities, especially the LGBTQ+ ones, in a country where having a different sexual orientation is not only illegal, but implies imprisonment, persecution and death sentences.
We do this by leading several support projects, from medical assitance and food distribution to professional training and upskilling.
